Exploring Italian Through Timely Topics

If you have taken Discovering Italian Through Timely Topics, or have some prior exposure to Italian, then this course will help you to build upon your Italian language knowledge. Taught almost entirely in Italian and targeted to learners’ levels, this course helps you to develop proficiency through a variety of paired, small-group, and whole-class activities that rely on student interaction and participation. Gain the Italian language skills to understand conversations about daily topics, to share information, and to engage in exchanges using natural structures and expressions. This dynamic and interactive course takes the Italian language off the page through lively classroom discussion and cultural outings.

Students are strongly encouraged to register by Wednesday, January 30, 2019 to help ensure a seat in the class. Please contact the Department of Foreign Languages at sps.foreignlanguages@nyu.edu with any questions or call (212) 998-7150 to register.
