Advanced Swedish: Media and Literature
This course is geared toward those with an advanced level of proficiency, who have completed Level VI or its equivalent, and wish to develop their reading, writing, and conversational skills while exploring various aspects of Swedish history, literature, and social issues. Read complex texts, watch documentaries, and listen to radio programs to build your confidence in listening and speaking. Deepen your knowledge of the language and its syntax by writing essays periodically throughout the semester. The main focus of the course is on conversation relating to both history and current events. Course content changes every semester, so this course may be taken more than once. Classes are conducted entirely in Swedish.
Students are strongly encouraged to register by Wednesday, September 12, 2018 to ensure a seat in the class. Please contact the Department of Foreign Languages at email@example.com with any questions, or call 212-998-7150 to register.
