Conversational Italian

If you have had prior exposure to the Italian language, then this intermediate course will help you to build upon that knowledge. Taught almost entirely in Italian and targeted to learners’ skill levels, this course focuses on conversational Italian, helping you to activate the knowledge you have and strengthening your ability to communicate accurately and effectively. Through a variety of paired, small-group, and whole-class activities that rely on interaction and participation, you’ll increase your fluency in Italian and your knowledge of Italian culture. In this dynamic and interactive course, gain the language skills to engage in conversations about daily topics and communicate with greater ease in Italian. Course content changes every semester, so this course may be taken more than once.

Students are strongly encouraged to register by Wednesday, January 30, 2019 to help ensure a seat in the class. Please contact the Department of Foreign Languages at sps.foreignlanguages@nyu.edu with any questions, or call 212-998-7150 to register.
