Mandarin I

If you have never studied Mandarin, then begin learning the language in this introductory course. Emphasis is placed on listening, speaking, reading, and writing, along with basic pronunciation and tones through vocabulary, useful expressions, and grammatical structures. Learn the Pinyin transliteration system and basic radicals. Both traditional and simplified characters are taught, and by the course’s conclusion, you will have 50 characters mastered. Classes are conducted in Mandarin to the extent possible.
