Summer Intensive in Television Writing

This intensive program is designed for amateur or professional television writers who wish to take their projects—whether half-hour comedies or hour-long dramas—to the next level. During this one-week immersive experience, spend mornings in classes taught by an NYUSPS instructor strengthening your craft and generating new material, and afternoons in workshops with a featured guest writer and a small group of peers. In the evenings, attend readings, lectures, and social events. Larry Kaplow, whose writing credits include Dick Wolf’s forthcoming series Chicago Justice, BrainDead, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, House, serves as featured writer. Michael Zam, writer/creator of Ryan Murphy’s forthcoming series Feud, serves as coordinating faculty member.
