Patrick  C.  Reed (J.D.,  Columbia  Law  School;  M.A.L.D. & Ph.D.,  Fletcher  School,  Tufts  University)  is  an international trade lawyer and an authority on the law, institutions, and political economy of international trade and  investment.  He  has  taught  the  politics  of international  economic  relations  and  related subjects  in  the  NYU‐SPS  global  affairs  program since 1995.  As a lawyer with Simons & Wiskin, his law practice concentrates on U.S. customs and international trade law, including the WTO agreements and the North American Free Trade Agreement.  Mr. Reed’s publications explore issues of customs and international trade law and policy, including the history and case law of the U.S. Court of International Trade, U.S. trade and investment agreements, and the World Trade Organization.
