Jeffrey A. Galant, a tax and estate planning lawyer, is Counsel at Meltzer, Lippe, Goldstein & Breitstone LLP in New York. He has been selected a SuperLawyer and a Best Lawyer  in the field of trust and estates, including litigation. He is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). He is admitted to practice in New York and Florida and is a member of the American, New York State, New York City and Florida Bar Associations. He is an adjunct professor of taxation at New York University’s School of Professional Studies. He has a JD from Columbia University School of Law, an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He has written and lectured extensively on legal and tax matters. His practice includes family business succession planning and philanthropy.
