
Daniel Nanjira
Adjunct InstructorDr. Daniel Don Nanjira is a retired Kenyan Diplomat, UN System Senior Staff, Professor, and International Development Expert. Dr. Nanjira has over 35 years of experience as a Diplomat, Human Rights Advocate, and Development Expert with practical experience in International Development and the UN system, including global negotiations within the UN and WTO systems on topics including sustainable development, international business, trade and development, and public international law, with special emphasis on Africa, the Caribbean and other Third World Regions.
Dr. Nanjira has taught African and Global Studies at several prestigious institutions including Columbia University, Hunter, Manhattanville, and Iona Colleges.
He holds a Doctorate Degree from Nairobi University transferred from Nottingham University, England. He holds additional degrees from Universities of Lodz and Warsaw in Poland; London University College; and Certificates from Johns Hopkins University (SAIS). He has authored numerous academic papers and articles on International Development and related topics and two books.
