Joshua Danial is one of two analysts who recently launched the Quantitative Analytics unit at BloombergNEF (BNEF), Bloomberg LP's primary research group covering the energy industry. He works collaboratively across BNEF's analysis, product, and engineering teams to enhance analytical capabilities and product offerings. Josh leads BNEF’s research and development in machine learning and satellite imagery applied to the energy transition. He has worked on high-value quantitative research projects including battery and power system dispatch optimization, oil and gas supply-demand balance forecasting, E&P hedge book valuation and power price forecasting. Josh’s previous experience is in private equity investment and distressed asset valuation. He holds a B.A. in Economics from NYU.
