Beatrice Hogan is a journalist with more than 20 years of experience researching, writing, and editing. She has fact-checked for MIT Technology Review, Vanity Fair, and The Atlantic, among other publications, and has also vetted books, including Omarosa Manigault Newman’s Unhinged and Michael Mechanic’s Jackpot. For ten years, she was the research chief of More, managing fact-checkers and troubleshooting legal issues, and is currently a senior editor at Havas Health & You. Hogan holds a bachelor’s in English from Georgetown and a master’s in international affairs from Columbia SIPA. She also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Uzbekistan and in 2001, won an International Reporting Project fellowship to return to Central Asia, where she snuck in a visit to her former students in Samarkand.
