Bret Gladstone received his MFA from Columbia University, where he has taught in the Creative Writing Program. He currently also teaches creative writing at NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study and literature at Medgar Evers College.  His music journalism has been published by Rolling Stone, The Village Voice, Pitchfork, Spin, and The Associated Press, and his fiction was awarded a fellowship from the Edward F. Albee Foundation. He is an associate editor of the literary journal Unsaid.  Bret lives in Brooklyn with his wife and their two dogs.
