Eliza V. Stoner is Associate Registrar of Collections and Exhibitions at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York, and an Adjunct Instructor at the Center for Applied Liberal Arts, NYUSPS. Before joining the Guggenheim she was a Lois F. McNeil Fellow at the Winterthur Museum in Delaware, and a transcriber of oral histories for the Foundation of the American Institute for Conservation. At the Guggenheim she has participated in over 40 exhibitions and serves as the Registrar Department's internship supervisor, training interns in collections and exhibitions registration since 2007. She has an MA in Decorative Arts and Material Culture from the University of Delaware.
This course provides an applied and practical approach to the management and care of art and artifact collections.
