Michael Brusic is a senior energy engineer with Bright Power, a New York City-based firm providing practical, integrated energy management solutions to real-estate owners and managers throughout the country. Michael is Bright Power’s staff specialist in cogeneration and has been the lead engineer on numerous projects providing services such as feasibility, design, owner’s representation, startup and commissioning, measurement and verification, financial modeling, and power-purchase contract negotiation. Outside the scope of his cogeneration work, Michael has led the retrocommissioning of millions of square feet of multifamily, commercial, and institutional buildings. Michael holds a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University, and has taught several continuing education courses on cogeneration.
