Patricia Moran

Clinical Assistant Professor

Patricia Moran is Director of the George H. Heyman, Jr. Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Philanthropy and Fundraising. She earned a B.S. in Secondary Education from Millersville State College in Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. with a management concentration from Louisiana State University. She was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the National Honor Society for Business and Management.

A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), Moran has extensive fundraising experience. Since 1992, she has been a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), where she has served as the organization’s president. She also is a board member of the AFP Foundation and of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). She received the Outstanding Women in Texas Government Recognition from the Governor’s Commission on Women.

Moran has served as Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Hunter College of the City University of New York, as well as at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Prior to these positions, she was the Assistant Vice President of Constituent Programs at Fordham University.  She was the inaugural executive director of the Texas Access to Justice Foundation that provided grants for legal services to the indigent in the state.
