Christopher Raccioppi

Christopher Raccioppi is a New York-based artist, sculptor, and draftsman who was trained at the Art Students League of New York, the National Academy Museum and School, the California Institute of Arts, the School of Visual Arts, and the New York Academy of Art. In addition to extensive studies of the old masters in museums across Italy, France, and England, Raccioppi completed a stone carving apprenticeship in Carrara, Italy, and advanced anatomical studies under Randy Melick and Frank Forcu. Raccioppi has taught artistic anatomy, figurative sculpture, and traditional drawing practices at the Art Students League of New York, the National Academy Museum and School, and the Center for Applied Liberal Arts at NYUSPS.
