Pina Magri

Pina Magri

Adjunct Instructor

Pina Magri earned her BA from Smith College (magna cum laude) in Art History and French, and received her Diploma in Opera from the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome, Italy. An Italian instructor at NYUSPS, she is also the 2016-2017 Modern Language Center Tutor of the Year award recipient at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She has worked for Italian National Television (Rai 1), and is a published author and composer with the Society of Italian Authors and Editors (SIAE). A soprano of the Coro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, she has also recorded as a soloist for Ennio Morricone, Franco Zefirelli, and Dario Argento. Pina is a trilingual Italian-American specialized in teaching language intertwined with culture.
