George S. Asimenios, is a Director for the MTA Long Island Rail Road in the Special Projects Department, and performs work related to the Overbuild Projects over the Railroad and the Moynihan Project.  He performs Design review and Construction coordination of two Overbuild Developments, Hudson Yards and Manhattan West, being constructed over active Railroad tracks and the  MTA LIRR’s storage yard, to provide LIRR support and assure no impacts to the LIRR’s operation.  The Manhattan West Project involved the construction of a platform over the LIRR’s and Amtrak tracks, and the construction of three towers.  The Hudson Yards Development has been called the largest Development Project in United States History, is over approximately 26 acres of the LIRR’s active storage yard, and involves the construction of a platform over the entire yard and the construction of multiple Commercial Towers, and Residential Buildings.   In addition, he performs the technical review and coordination of LIRR forces associated with the Moynihan Project, which is located at the Main Post Office in Midtown Manhattan.
