Peter Sawchuk

Program Manager Consumer Reports
Peter Sawchuk is a Program Manager at Consumer reports for 15 years, testing outdoor power equipment. He has worked in manufacturing for over 30 years in new product development, engineering, and quality. He was vice president of engineering and quality at Troy-Bilt for 15 years. He has taught at the graduate level at Union college and SUNY Albany and in the NYU Project Management program for 12 years. In addition he has done project management training and consulting for General Electric, Stanley Tools, Troxler Labs, and Cushman. He holds a B.A. in Economics from St. Lawrence University and an M.S. in Industrial Administration from Union College. He is a Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Control by the American Production and Inventory Control Society and is Six Sigma Black Belt trained by the American Society for Quality.
