Program Description

The Diploma in Childcare Management provides individuals who will be responsible for the care of young children with the information that research indicates is essential to sustain healthy development, together with the tools to implement best practices. The Diploma consists of eight courses that cover a wide variety of childcare management skills. These include basic information regarding children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, as well as their learning processes during the first five years of life.

The Diploma Program in Childcare Management is completed in one semester of study.

Work Product

As a student in this program, you will be responsible for producing written documents that demonstrate competency as a childcare management professional. These include a childcare management business plan and administration plan, a curriculum featuring multiple courses for children up to five years old, a comprehensive art project, and safe and enriching environment parameters tailored to different developmental levels.
