Understanding Hotel Operations: Introduction to Hotel Law
This introductory course provides an overview of statutes, regulations, and case law and their application to hospitality operations. Learn basic legal principles and procedures that govern the hospitality industry, including the hotel-guest contractual relationship, laws regarding food and beverage operations, and government regulations such as Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act. This course combines lectures, class participation, discussions, and case studies. Active participation in class is encouraged.
