Introduction to Financial Accounting

Along with Financial Accounting: Part II/DIPL1-CE8102, this course provides an introduction to financial accounting and reporting. Learn the principles of financial accounting for proprietorships, partnerships, and corporations. Study accrual-based accounting and the accounting cycle. Learn to analyze and record financial transactions; prepare financial statements; and account for receivables, inventories, fixed assets, and liabilities. Topics include recording transactions; the accounting cycle; financial statement preparation; and accounting for cash, receivables, inventory, and fixed assets.
