Structuring Office, Retail, and Industrial Loans
Build upon the principles and techniques covered in Commercial Real Estate Loan Underwriting, and learn how to underwrite and structure more complex real estate deals involving office, retail, and industrial loans. Topics covered include discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis; lease review; rent roll risk; go dark provisions; upside potential; subordination, non-disturbance, and attornment agreements (SNDAs); and single-tenant occupancies and risk mitigation. As a participant in this course, you will prepare a credit memo to “committee” on one or more property types.
