This certificate gives global professionals insight into leading international business practices and the effective written and oral communication skills necessary to succeed in today’s globalized marketplace. The program provides high-impact professional training in advanced language and global business communication skills, with particular attention to: writing effectively, specialized discourse, presentation success, negotiation strategies, and intercultural communication.

Professionals will learn advanced techniques for writing persuasive, clear, and effective emails, reports, and proposals.  Furthermore, professionals will learn how to build the powerful oral communication skills for: leading effective in-person and virtual meetings, negotiating successfully with colleagues and clients, and delivering dynamic presentations for diverse audiences and stakeholders. Requirements:

The certificate is awarded to students who successfully complete the three required core courses and two elective courses listed below. The three core courses must be completed before the elective courses. This certificate must be completed within three years of taking the first certificate-eligible course.
