Introduction to Monitoring and Evaluation

This course will introduce the fundamentals of monitoring and evaluation (M&E). It will address questions such as: What is monitoring and evaluation? Why do it? Who does it? By the end of this course, you will be able to develop a monitoring and evaluation theoretical framework. Group work plays a significant role in this program and is required. If you are not comfortable working in groups, you may want to reconsider your participation in this program. This is an instructor-led virtual course scheduled to run on New York - Eastern time (ET). Students are required to attend at least 80% of the sessions for each course in order to successfully complete it. This course will feature a mix of synchronous and asynchronous sessions that provide content and reinforce learning outcomes.
