Mark Houser is the author of MultiStories: 55 Antique Skyscrapers & the Business Tycoons Who Built Them and an expert on landmark tall buildings. He is currently working with artist Chris Hytha on "Highrises," a website/book/NFT project featuring more than 100 Art Deco and other historic skyscrapers across America. Houser has spoken to groups from coast to coast on the subject and appears in the 2022 Curiosity Stream documentary History by the Numbers: Skyscrapers. He works in public relations for Robert Morris University in his hometown of Pittsburgh and is a former reporter for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, where he won national journalism awards for uncovering systematic racial bias in Pittsburgh jury rooms and spurring court reforms.
