P.J. Lehrer is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Advertising at NYU. Her teaching experience spans a decade and includes stints at multiple universities. She is also a corporate trainer/facilitator, delivering workshops on everything from managerial skills to "how to handle difficult conversations."
Prior to her move into academia, P.J. spent 20 years as an account leader in a variety of global advertising agencies including Grey & McCann-Erickson, working on premier international accounts such as AT&T and L’Oreal.
In addition to her B.A. in Advertising from Penn State, P.J. also has an M.B.A. in Marketing from Northeastern University.
Her newest marketing book - Why Does It Make You Want To Buy Something? was published in 2016, and updated in 2017. Her marketing blog, Prof. Lehrer’s Blog http://pjlehrer.blogspot.com/ debuted in 2009, and is updated weekly.
