Hussein Ibrahim is a Graduate Assistant at the NYU Peace Research and Education Program. He is a candidate for MA in Global Affairs majoring in Peacebuilding at the Center for Global Affairs at NYU. Previously, he had helped international non-government organizations with start-up projects such as BigHeart in Iraqi Kurdistan. He coordinated local and international individual efforts to collect much-needed help for Internally Displaced people in Iraq; especially Yezidis in 2014. He worked as Corporate Social Adviser with Exxon-Mobil between 2014-2016 in North of Iraq. 


Hussein participated in Qatar Debate Tournament in 2009 where he was ranked as the third best speaker and awarded bronze and silver medals. He has a bachelor degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Duhok in 2010.
