International Students


We welcome international students to our Career Edge and Weekend Workshops programs! Our Summer 2021 and Fall 2021 courses will be held remotely online due to COVID-19 and travel restrictions to NYC. International students are not required to obtain a student visa to enroll in courses held remotely.

Please note: Classes will be held live, synchronously, on New York City time- Eastern Time (US and Canada). Please review the conversion to your local timezone before applying. All international students must submit their application in full, including language proficiency scores, by the application deadline to be considered for the program.

Proof of English Language Proficiency (Required for international students at a non-US High School): International students who are currently studying at a non-US school and are not native speakers of English are required to submit scores from an English language exam to demonstrate their proficiency in English.

Accepted tests* include: TOEFL iBT, IELTS Academic, PTE Academic, C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency, MELAB, Duolingo English Test, or iTEP (International Test of English Proficiency)


Academic Transcripts: If you are currently attending or have attended an academic institution in which English is the language of instruction for at least three full years at the time of application, you may submit a transcript instead. Transcripts submitted in lieu of testing can be uploaded to the application.

*Test scores can be self-reported on the “Test Scores” page of the application or sent directly to New York University by the testing agency.
