International Students

We welcome international students to our Career Edge program! Our Summer 2022 courses will be held in-person in New York City and will be subject to local, state and university COVID-19 safety and security protocols. International students must obtain a student visa to enroll in courses for Summer 2022.

All international students must submit their applications in full, including language proficiency scores by the International Student Application Deadline of April 25, 2022 to be considered for the program.

Proof of English Language Proficiency (Required for international students at a non-US High School): International students who are currently studying at a non-US school and are not native speakers of English are required to submit scores from an English language exam to demonstrate their proficiency in English.

Accepted tests* include: TOEFL iBT, IELTS Academic, PTE Academic, C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency, MELAB, Duolingo English Test, or iTEP (International Test of English Proficiency)

Academic Transcripts: If you are currently attending or have attended an academic institution in which English is the language of instruction for at least three full years at the time of application, you may submit a transcript instead. Transcripts submitted in lieu of testing can be uploaded to the application.

*Test scores can be self-reported on the “Test Scores” page of the application or sent directly to New York University by the testing agency.
