Registration for the 35th Annual NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference Is Now Open

Conference to Take Place June 2-4, 2013 at The New York Marriott Marquis

NEW YORK (March 14, 2013) – Registration is now open for the 35th Annual New York University International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference, hosted by the Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism, and Sports Management at the NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies (NYU-SCPS). Sponsored by leading hospitality organizations, the Conference is the premier hospitality finance and development forum of its kind at which global hotel CEOs, owners, developers, investors, lenders, analysts, and other hospitality leaders gather to discuss current issues and the future of the industry.

The NYU Hospitality Conference will be held June 2-4, 2013 at the New York Marriott Marquis and will feature general sessions, workshops, and networking events to provide data, analysis, perspectives, insights, and opportunities. Jonathan M. Tisch, chairman of Loews Hotels and co-chairman of the Board and Office of the President of Loews Corporation, will serve again as Conference Chair, and NYU-SCPS Tisch Center Divisional Dean Bjorn Hanson will serve as Conference Host.

Conference Chair Jonathan M. Tisch and the executive planning committee have created a forum with dynamic discussions on fundamental and timely issues. Special program highlights include: “The Titans of Real Estate,” which will feature panelists Thomas J. Pritzker, chairman, Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Mort Zuckerman, chairman and chief executive officer, Boston Properties, Inc., along with moderator Simon Hobbs, co-anchor of CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street.”

Top industry executives will discuss leadership and strategy in the annual “CEOs Check-In” panel. The CEO line-up includes Stephen P. Joyce, president and chief executive officer, Choice Hotels International; Christopher J. Nassetta, president and chief executive officer, Hilton Worldwide; Trudy A. Rautio, president and chief executive officer, Carlson; and W. Edward Walter, president and chief executive officer, Host Hotels & Resorts. This panel will be moderated by Robert Boland, J.D., academic chair and clinical associate professor, NYU-SCPS Tisch Center.

Additionally, highly esteemed economists Steven Blitz, chief economist, ITG Investment Research, and Jason DeSena Trennert, managing partner, chairman, and chief executive officer, Strategas Research Partners will join moderator Ron Insana, CNBC contributor, Insana Information Partners, for the annual Economists' Update presentation.
