Alumni Networks and Mentorship
While NYU School of Professional Studies Preston Robert Tisch Institute for Global Sport graduates enjoy the many privileges and resources affiliated with being NYU alumni, the Tisch Center Alumni Society (TCAS) adds an additional level of specialized support. TCAS provides students with substantial aid throughout their academic and professional development, and as they become NYU alumni and colleagues, continues to extend this support by offering career advice, contacts, and opportunities to advance.
The Tisch Center Alumni Society (TCAS) Mentorship Program is a hallmark initiative that is invaluable to students. With a roster of influential industry professionals positioned around the world, the Tisch Center Alumni Society pairs students with the most accomplished hospitality, tourism, and sports alumni to mentor the next generation of leaders.
Throughout the year, alumni mentors and students develop meaningful professional bonds through workplace shadowing, networking events, and informal exchanges over coffee. Students benefit from mentor advice about career strategies, access to exclusive industry organizations and networks, and guidance about internships and electives. TCAS hosts a celebratory reception to begin and to conclude the experience, and these relationships endure as students pursue new challenges and opportunities, academically and professionally.
The Alumni Society continues to support students throughout their academic and professional development, and of course, as they become NYU alumni and colleagues—offering career advice, contacts, and opportunities to advance. Tisch Center graduates also enjoy the privileges and the resources affiliated with being an NYU alumna/us.
