NYU Libraries

NYU Libraries

The NYU library system is comprised of more than 4.7 million volumes located at 15 sites across the city and overseas, in Florence, Italy and in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a student, you will have access to a plethora of library resources including articles accessed via database, e-journals, and video and audio recordings, all of which are linked together by the BobCat system, the computerized catalog available throughout the library branches.

The Office of Global Services (OGS) provides specialized support to NYU international students, scholars, and their dependents, including immigration advising and guidance, programs and events, cultural adjustment resources, and more.

NYU Bookstore and Computer Store

The NYU Bookstores provide the University community with the resources and tools necessary to achieve academic excellence. The Bookstores carry textbooks, general trade books, school supplies, stationery, and University clothing and gifts. The Computer Store carries computer hardware, software, accessories and iPods at exclusive NYU discounts.

Student Resource Center

The Student Resource Center (SRC) makes staff and programming available to students to ensure they are capitalizing on all of the activities and services that the University and New York City have to offer. The SRC connects student communities, helps students navigate academic and social resources at NYU, and serves as a general resource for answering questions about student life.

Wasserman Center

Wasserman Center for Career Development

The Wasserman Center is a comprehensive career center that offers students and alumni award-winning services that are essential for competing in today’s job market. The Center connects students with internship and employment opportunities and maintains information on the latest resources, techniques and strategies designed to address a wide variety of career management issues.

 

Kimmel Center

Helen and Martin Kimmel Center for University Life

The multipurpose Kimmel Center is the hub of campus activity for NYU students, faculty members, staff, and alumni. It houses one of the University’s largest dining halls, lounges, galleries, practice rooms, theater spaces, lockers, and outdoor terraces.

Information Technology Services

Computer Services and Internet Resources

Information Technology Services (ITS) provides technology-based services to NYU students, faculty members, and staff. ITS offers computing services,  Internet and NYU Home access, software, student computer labs, classes, technical assistance, and various other resources to help students with course work and research projects.
