The Paul and Bunny Grossinger Scholarship
The NYU School of Professional Studies has established The Paul and Bunny Grossinger Scholarship in honor of Ricelle "Bunny" Grossinger, a pioneer in hospitality and travel marketing, and an ardent supporter of the NYU School of Professional Studies Jonathan M. Tisch Center for Hospitality and Tourism; and her late husband, Paul, a highly successful hotelier and generous philanthropist. The scholarship offers support to matriculated degree candidates in the M.S. in Tourism Management, and will be awarded annually to a deserving student who has demonstrated academic excellence and who requires financial assistance.
Mrs. Grossinger has been a member of the Tisch Center's advisory board since its inception in 1995, as well as a generous benefactor of the Center's programs. She has long been recognized for her early identification of the importance of tourism for the economic, social, and cultural development of society, and has been credited with leading the opening of U.S. travel markets abroad.
"I am so pleased and excited to be honored in a manner that will help others to pursue careers in the field of tourism. This scholarship is an investment in the future of talented and deserving students, who will be able to benefit by receiving an education from the NYU School of Professional Studies Jonathan M. Tisch Center for Hospitality and Tourism, a leader in these industries."—Ricelle "Bunny" Grossinger
