The BA in Humanities fuses the liberal arts core curriculum with foundational courses in the humanities and the social sciences. In addition, students can choose from concentrations in art history and visual culture, creative writing, or literature. To earn their degree, students must also complete the Senior Project Seminar, or the Senior Project Internship.
Before starting a concentration, students must complete a series of foundation courses within their major. A student’s chosen concentration determines which particular combination of the following required courses and elected humanities and social sciences courses will make up the foundation curriculum of their humanities major.
